Food was fresh and delicious, the wait time for my order was not bad. Still very good food! The food is still on point as always! Got to love this place! It's wonderful part of the community that gives the people what they want Food cooked with love

E & S is one of the best places to get fish | Cash Only Menu offers various sides + main items. The Perch Dinner tasted nice All of the perch felt light and satisfying, no matter the color. Fries have zero salt. If you like fresh crispy fries, you'll like these. Ordering worked out well. You go up to the giant window. It felt difficult getting the staffman to properly hear my order, and took time. My order arrived correctly. ( I asked for no slaw and sub fries. I got some extra fries. I just wish it were completely taken off). While sitting, I noticed that all of the staff were nice, casually funny, and cared. Glad about that Inside: Clean. Customers can sit down and enjoy music. You'll learn a lot more about the history here too, just by looking at the photos. Overall, if you want fish, shrimp, or fries, E & S is a good place to go. 4 stars | ⭐⭐⭐⭐

An old childhood memory fav! Still has the same good taste with no tail on shrimp. Fried in a crispy batter served with fries and crackers. Typing this makes me want some right now!

They are supposed to open at 1:00pm but we're late opening up. I left and came back and they were open before 1:30. It was worth the wait and I'm glad that I came back. The staff is very friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the food was good and clean cooked in fresh grease. And most important it is a family owned and ran Black business. I love it!

Simple, good, delicious shrimp. Very simple to shop. There takes its time but love goes into every bite. I will have to say when they are open. This is a spot you must try. The shrimp is simply delicious. The fish is not bad. People are so nice. It has a lot of heart and soul and the flavor of that fried shrimp is is perfect

I have been coming to E & S since I was a young girl with my Daddy from a teenager to an grow adult 50 plus now They have survived All these 50 years! Before COVID & After Yes so Happy!!!! I am born & raised in Detroit Lived in Arizona 20 plus years I would take back on my flights 2 pounds of shrimp & the works of food back Every time I came home 2-3 x’s a year Original!!!! I LOVE- E & S shrimp, fish, wings, fries & coleslaw delicious! Best in Detroit! Delicious Always Lines be outside the door waiting for them to open, worth the wait ALWAYS!!!! The Long running family Base restaurant.. The whole family that works here is so warm, friendly, smiling faces & put love into all they cook & do for us the customers!!!! Thank you to: All the Staff that work & The Head in the front Mrs. Boss Lady in the Front as I call her Thank you, Thank you, Thank you ( My review is all Truths)!!!!
